San Rafael Mine Signing

President Otto Perez Molina speaks during the signing of the official convene between the Guatemalan government and Tahoe Resources & Goldcorp's El Escobal silver project via its local subsidiary Minera San Rafael. Six mayors from adjacent municipalities that will receive a voluntary subsidy from the mine sit in the far table. The signing comes two days after six locals were shot by the company's security guards.
